1. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SALES
1.1 Tickets
The Hive sells tickets for its own events, as well as other events on behalf of promoters, producers, teams, performers and venues. We refer to these parties as our ‘Venue Clients’
All transactions are subject to a transaction booking fee of £1 (cash and card) to cover essential administration and box office costs. Tickets are non-refundable. Refunds/transfers may be possible under exceptional circumstances (e.g. cancellation of an event) but are at the discretion of The Hive. Tickets are not for resale and should not be used for any other purposes including promotions and contests. The Hive refers the right to refuse sale of tickets to young people under the age of 16.
We do not take any responsibility for tickets mailed to you or for tickets lost or stolen. Tickets are only valid for the date and event shown on the ticket and it is the responsibility of the customer to make a note of these details. The Hive does not take any responsibility for events cancelled by any of the Venue Clients. The Hive also reserves the right to refuse admission in the case of a breach of these terms & conditions or on other grounds; including later arrival, being under age (or appearing to be), being drunk, unauthorised recordings or any other anti-social behaviour. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
For issues regarding tickets purchased directly from the Venue Clients of the Hive, please contact the Partners directly as the Hive does not take any responsibility for tickets purchased from Venue Clients or other ticket outlets.
1.2. Merchandise, Café and Bar Sales
For merchandise, The Hive will only process purchases made by persons over 16 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Café sales will be made by persons over the age of 7, except for alcohol sales. For alcohol sales The Hive operates a Challenge 25 strategy.
All Intellectual Property Rights in or to the materials and information made available to you through The Hive merchandise website including but not limited to our registered and unregistered trademarks either owned by us or licensed to us by our third party partners.
We will not take any responsibility for goods once they have been passed on to Royal Mail or other courier. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. We may cancel any sale and not supply products or services if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of any product at any time at our sole discretion. However, if we do so, we will always notify you that we shall do so and, where relevant, refund you all payments made by you.
Please note that we cannot give refunds in respect of personalised goods or goods which by their nature cannot be returned to us, goods which deteriorate or expire rapidly, or which are by their nature time-sensitive, or in relation to any video cassette, CD, DVD, or other digital medium the seal of which has been broken. Therefore, when purchasing such items, please think carefully before you buy.
There is no warranty on any of the merchandise goods or services purchased from The Hive as goods are sold ‘as is’ basis. This will not affect your statutory rights.
