Youth Music Action Zone for Shropshire, Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin:

The Hive Music and Media Centre is the administrative base of the Youth Music Action Zone for Shropshire, Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin. The Herefordshire arm of the Youth Music Action Zone is delivered working with partner organisation the Music Pool, based in Hereford.

Overview of the Youth Music Action Zone:

Youth Music exists to provide children and young people with access to a wide range of music-making projects and activities. For many young people, being given the chance to experience the power of music has been life changing.

Through the Youth Music Action Zone, the Hive Music and Media Centre and the Music Pool both aim to provide a diverse array of music-making opportunities, promoting the powerful benefits of music within the community.

Work of the Youth Music Action Zone:

The Hive delivers specific Youth Music Action Zone activity across both Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, working with partner organisations and agencies including local authorities, Surestart, schools, youth groups and many more.
